SEEK THE WASEELA OF ALLAH

SEEK MEANS (WASEELA) TO APPROACH YOUR LORD:
"O you who believe! Do your duty to Allaah and fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful"
[al-Maa'idah 5:35]

Seek a Means to approach him-represent the Hijra (migration) to Allah and Prophet.
Hadith Says: On the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, who said : I heared the messenger of Allah salla Allah u alihi wa sallam say :

"Actions are but by intention and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus he whose migration was for Allah and His messenger, his migration was for Allah and His messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated." related by Bukhari and Muslim

To have an Imam (spiritual guide) or a leader is one of the condition of migration.Whenever Sahaba go a journey they used to appoint an Imam among them itself. So what is the point of Saying we do not need Imam for the migration to Allah?. Which one is more difficult and trick of Shaytan involve?

This is the reason we must follow a living Shaykh of Tasawwuf among us to lead us in the migration to Allah and His Messenger. His Tarbiyath (Spiritual guidance and support is necessary.
You are the beginner, so you must have a Shaykh of tarikat whom you can reach.So be on Waseela of you are migrating to ALLAH., if you are not, then live as you like.



In Tafseer Roohul Bayan: "Should you understand that the order has come to seek a Waseela in this verse.Because except by a Waseela one cannot reach in Allah. Waseela means the spiritual masters who reach in the Haqiqa and the Shaykhs of Tarikat (Sufism)-Tafseer Roohul Bayan: 3/468

Imam Rasi says:

صراط اللّذين أنعمت عليهم- وهذا يدلّ علي انّ المريد لا سبيل له الي الوصول الي مقامات الهداية والمكاشفة الاَ اذا اقتدي بشيخ يهديه الي سواء السبيل ويجنّبهم مواقع الأغاليط والأضاليل وذلك لأنّ النقص غالب علي أكثر الخلق وعقولهم غير وافية باِدراك الحق وتميز الصواب من الغلط فلا بدّ من كامل يقتدي به الناقص حتي يتقوّي عقل ذلك الناقص بنور عقل ذلك الكامل فحينئذ يصل الي مدارج السعادة معارج
